Our clinic offer complete, convenient, prompt and personalized medical and cosmetic dermatological care. Iowa Dermatology Clinic offers treatment for skin cancer, moles, rashes, psoriasis, acne, eczema and other skin conditions.
IDC is hiring a Registered Nurse. We are looking for an individual who can work closely with clinic and organizations leadership to provide a quality patient experience.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities: (including but not limited to)
- Greeting patients.
- Updating and filing patient medical records.
- Insurance verification.
- Arranging for laboratory services.
- Taking medical histories.
- Explaining treatment procedures to patients.
- Preparing patients for examination.
- Assisting the physician during exams.
- Collecting and preparing laboratory specimens.
- Performing basic laboratory tests.
- Preparing and administering medications as directed by a physician.
- Removing sutures and changing dressings.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Current RN certification required.
- Experience in MOHS procedures preferred.
- Mandatory Reporter certification preferred.
- CPR preferred.
- Previous clinical experience in a medical office preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as a team member.
- Strong computer skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
