Position Overview
The Project Manager will lead the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of the Medicaid dashboard/analytics solution for the Florida. This individual will be responsible for managing timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional coordination to ensure successful implementation of the MPDR solution. The Project Manager will also act as the key liaison between the Vendor team and AHCA stakeholders.

This individual will be responsible for managing timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional coordination to ensure successful implementation of the MPDR solution. The Project Manager will also act as the key liaison between the Vendor team and AHCA stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Information Systems, Public Health, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience managing IT or healthcare-related projects, including dashboard development and data integration efforts.
- Strong familiarity with Medicaid programs, healthcare analytics, and public health data reporting.
- Expertise in project planning tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar).
- Experience managing teams in Agile, hybrid, or waterfall environments.
- Demonstrated success leading multi-disciplinary teams and managing complex stakeholder environments.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working with or recently contracted by Florida AHCA.
- Develop, manage, and maintain a detailed Project Management Plan including all activities, timelines, milestones, and interdependencies.
- Coordinate all phases of the solution development, including planning, design, testing (system & UAT), implementation, training, and transition.
- Monitor and report on progress using milestone tracking and performance metrics to measure vendor performance.
- Oversee daily operations of the project team, ensuring that deliverables meet the specifications, deadlines, and performance standards outlined in the contract.
- Work collaboratively with AHCA staff, technical experts, analysts, and external vendors to ensure seamless communication and issue resolution.
- Prepare and submit project status reports, system testing reports, UAT summaries, and change requests in accordance with AHCA’s reporting standards.
- Ensure compliance with all contractual, security, and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, CJIS).
- Participate in project audits, review sessions, and stakeholder briefings as required by AHCA.
