What You Will Be Doing
You would be part of the client Digital Operations team and will support Release management activities and Quality Engineering and would be playing the role of Release Management & Quality Engineering Consultant. As Release Management & Quality Engineering Consultant, you would be responsible to- Evaluate the overall quality engineering process in VBG, and recommend best practices. Analyze the automation strategy, process and existing team structure and submit gap report and recommendations Compare the various KPI’s and current measures currently followed in VBG with Industry and propose recommendations Prepare Transformational plan for Quality the quality group with respect to Multivariate Testing, Automation(FE, BE, API, Perf, Security etc), CI/CD, Test Environment Management, Test Data Management Define and drive Quality Engineering maturity model at enterprise level and set SLAs around them Define & Help implement process to develop/build teams with Domain Expertise, Technical Expertise, Transform Talent into niche skills, create culture of learning and Innovation Define and Drive Agile, operating model and other processes. Bring in new ideas and strategies to engage the entire organization on the processes. Assessing the industry for latest in technology, practices, process and next generation platforms on emerging tech to bring in speed, efficiency and innovation to the deliverables Evaluating products and software for their merits and suitability to build technology solution. Recommend Automating systems and process with built in control and governance for efficiency and operational excellence. Recommend high quality standards on delivery and lead the focus on customer experience, cross functional team setting and collaborate with the spirit of purpose driven shared ownership. Drive Release Management calls, follow up on all the Open items (Critical Defects, Projects not delivered, any blockers impeding the timely delivery), run post-mortem calls to identify improvement opportunities.

Must have skills:-
Bachelor’s degree 10 or more years of relevant work experience. Experience in Release Management, IT Test Process Management, Test Governance Knowledge of sales, pricing models, marketing.
Experience in telecom customer service, CRM operations. Knowledge of test data management and test environment management.
Knowledge on Project Management (tools and methods).
Experience in leading teams using waterfall and agile models.
Experience managing large enterprise onshore/offshore delivery models from inception to production.
Certification in Agile, Test Management Maturity Models
