Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. We provide Functional Medicine, Aesthetics and a diverse range of Regenerative Procedures. The LPN/RN will provide essential nursing care under the supervision of the nurse practitioner, ensuring the highest quality of patient care. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, a solid understanding of our medical procedures, and a commitment to patient advocacy.
Duties
- Administer medications and injections as prescribed by the nurse practitioner.
- Room patients, updating medical history, and taking vitals.
- Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient encounter.
- Provide direct patient care, including phlebotomy, processing blood/PRP, IV therapy and IM/SC injectables. If interested, will train or support the right candidate for aesthetics procedures.
- Collaborate with the whole care team to provide patient care.
- Answering phones, calling patients regarding results and questions, keeping supplies stocked and up to date, ordering supplies, direct communication with the nurse practitioner on patient prescriptions, prior authorizations, patient questions/needs.
- Participate in patient education regarding health management and treatment plans.
- Will be trained in taking payments, scheduling patients, covering the front desk.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
- Will train the right candidate to help with weight management program and direct patient education/visits.
Requirements
- Valid LPN/RN license in the state of practice.
- Driven, self-directed, team player.
- Experience administering injections, IV certified (or ability to obtain), proficient in phlebotomy, desire or experience in aesthetics.
- Familiarity with medical records management and medical documentation practices.
- Previous experience in IV, phlebotomy, blood processing, injections.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
