Job Description:
Radiant Home Care is looking for compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to provide high-quality, non-medical support to seniors and individuals with disabilities. As a PCA, you will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and overall well-being while promoting independence.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning.
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, meal preparation, and dishwashing.
- Remind clients to take medications as prescribed.
- Run errands and provide transportation to appointments when necessary.
- Monitor and report changes in client health or behavior to the appropriate supervisor.
- Follow individualized care plans to meet each client's specific needs.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable with a strong commitment to providing quality care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow care plans and work independently.
- Basic knowledge of home safety and sanitation.
- Ability to lift or assist clients as needed.
- Experience in caregiving, home care, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Valid TB test (Tuberculosis screening) required.
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are a plus.
