Full Stack Engineer

Radiant, a fast-growing small business specializing in digital services for public sector clients, is seeking a skilled full-stack developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in both front-end and back-end development, capable of creating responsive user interfaces and robust server-side applications.

Position: Full Stack Developer (full-time)

Location: . Radiant office near BWI Airport in Maryland. Atleast 4 days a week

Minimum Experience: Minimum of 5 years of software development experience.

Key Requirements

• Design and implement user-friendly web interfaces using modern front-end technologies
• Develop and maintain server-side applications and APIs
• Create and manage databases, optimizing their performance
• Ensure cross-platform optimization for mobile devices
• Debug and troubleshoot issues to maintain seamless functionality
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
• Stay updated with the latest developments in web application technology

Required Skills and Qualifications

Front-end Technologies:

• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
• Experience with modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
• Knowledge of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility

Back-end Technologies:

• Expertise in server-side languages like Node.js, Python, or Java
• Experience with web frameworks such as Express.js, Django, or Spring Boot
• Familiarity with RESTful API design and GraphQL

Database Management:

• Proficiency in both SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases
• Experience in database design, optimization, and query performance tuning

DevOps and Deployment:

• Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control using Git

Security:

• Understanding of web security best practices
• Experience implementing authentication protocols (OAuth, JWT)
• Knowledge of common vulnerabilities and their prevention (XSS, CSRF, SQL injection)

Additional Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in full stack development
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members
