Key Responsibilities
AS the Revenue Analyst, you’ll be responsible for:
- Review and validate revenue transactions for accuracy and completeness.
- Assist in preparing and posting revenue-related journal entries.
- Perform reconciliations for revenue-related general ledger accounts.
- Analyze gross margin trends and variances by location and over time.
- Investigate and explain fluctuations in revenues, cost of sales, and profitability metrics.
- Assist in weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial statement variance reporting.
- Collaborate with operations teams to resolve data discrepancies.
- Support documentation efforts for month-end and quarter-end close.
- Ad hoc reporting and special projects assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
- 2 years of experience in accounting or finance preferred.
- Foundational knowledge of U.S. GAAP; ASC 606 knowledge is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g. formulas, pivot tables, graphs) and Office Suite.
- Experience with SAP is preferred.
- Familiarity with data tools such as Power BI a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to multi-task.
- Full time schedule of minimum 8 hours per day with flexibility to complete all required job duties and responsibilities
