What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Medication Aide (CMA) position at Radiant Medical Staffing?
$33 - $36 Per Hour (DOE)
JOB SUMMARY:
As a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) partnering with Radiant you will administer medications to residents in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Travel to contracted locations and work assigned shifts
- Follow contracted locations policies and procedures
- Administer medications as ordered by the plan of care for each resident
- Supervise residents who self-administer medication while following community and regulatory guidelines
- Seek licensed staff assistance as needed and with PRN medications
- Assure medications are given to the right person, in the right manner at the right time.
- Chart all appropriate documentation
- Provide residents with routine daily nursing care and services
- Maintain patient confidentiality
- As a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) you will work with nurse supervisor to monitor any changes in condition
- Communicate both orally and written with staff, residents, family members, etc.
- Foster a supportive, compassionate environment for our residents and their families
- Adheres to the policies and procedures of the facility
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Active Certified Medication Aide (CMA) License or CNA License with proof of Certified Medication Aide (CMA) program enrollment.
