JOB SUMMARY:
We
are seeking compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)
to join our Radiant Medical Staffing to provide direct patient care in a
variety of healthcare settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, and
assisted living communities, based on the needs of our clients. This flexible
per-diem position allows you to choose your schedule and work in different
environments based on your experience, while providing excellent care to
patients.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and mobility.
- Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, etc.) and report any significant changes to the nursing staff.
- Assist in transferring patients and positioning them for comfort and safety.
- Help patients with basic medical tasks such as collecting specimens, feeding, and administering medications as directed by medical staff.
- Document patient care and observations accurately in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to infection control standards.
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.
- Ensure patient privacy and dignity at all times.
- Work in various healthcare facilities on an as-needed basis based on your availability and selection of shifts within our staffing app.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) License in the State of practice
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant in a healthcare setting (e.g., hospitals, nursing homes, or assisted living).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or CPR depending placement setting.
- Ability to work independently and manage your schedule within our staffing app.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Flexibility to work in different healthcare environments, including varying shifts and locations ( Flexibility is key to obtaining shifts that meet your needs).
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test (if required by facility).
- Reliable transportation to travel to various client locations.
