JOB SUMMARY:
As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing patients' needs and developing individualized treatment plans to help them achieve their therapeutic goals. You will work collaboratively with healthcare teams to promote patient independence and improve overall quality of life.
RESPONSBILITIES:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and environmental needs.
- Develop, implement, and adjust personalized treatment plans based on patient progress.
- Utilize therapeutic techniques and activities to enhance patients' daily living skills.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
- Stay current with best practices and advancements in occupational therapy.
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid state license in OR, WA or ID to practice Occupational Therapy.
- Strong knowledge of occupational therapy principles, practices, and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1 year minimum licensed experience in a healthcare setting.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Certification in specialized areas of practice (e.g., pediatrics, geriatrics, hand therapy).
Salary : $2,400 - $2,650
