We are looking for an Internal Auditor and Training Specialist to join our team.
This position is full-time, Monday-Thursday, 7:00am - 5:30pm.

This position requires use of information or access to hardware, which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Requirements:
This dual-role position ensures compliance with AS9100 and customer-specific quality standards through effective internal auditing. Additionally, the role oversees employee training and development programs that enhance operational excellence and regulatory readiness.
GENERAL DUTIES:
- Internal Audits & AS9100 Compliance
- Plan, schedule, and conduct internal audits in accordance with AS9100, regulatory, and customer requirements. Maintain and update internal audit schedules and procedures in line with industry best practices. Lead root cause analysis and support closure of corrective actions resulting from audits.
- Identify and document nonconformities, risks, and opportunities for improvement, ensuring corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) are effectively implemented.
- Prepare and present detailed audit reports to management, summarizing findings and recommendations.
- Support third-party certification and customer audits, providing necessary documentation and corrective action responses.
- Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Sales teams to maintain compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Continuously assess quality processes for conformance, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement opportunities.
- Training & Employee Development
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive employee training programs, including new hire onboarding, job-specific training, and compliance-related instruction.
- Develop and standardize training materials, ensuring alignment with regulatory and operational requirements.
- Support Human Resources in maintaining training records and employee certifications in alignment with audit and compliance requirements.
- Work with department leaders to identify skills gaps and develop targeted training solutions. Establish metrics to measure training effectiveness and employee proficiency. Integrate training with continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure that all training programs meet industry regulatory and safety standards.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Experience and Competencies
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Training & Development, or a related discipline preferred.
- Preferred: 3 years of experience in auditing, quality management, AS9100 compliance, or training program development in the aerospace or manufacturing industry.
- Demonstrated knowledge of AS9100, and FAA or aerospace compliance requirements preferred.
- Internal Auditor certification (e.g., ASQ or Probitas) is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access (database)
- Read/Write Fluently in English
- Sustained dependable attendance.
- Cooperation with others in team environment for cross training and conference on operational issues.
- Initiative in learning and changing work methods to accomplish assigned tasks on a timely basis.
- Familiarity with developing and managing training programs, including hands-on and digital learning methods.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to train employees at all levels.
