We are currently looking for a Qualified Sales Account Manager to join our team.
Schedule is full-time, Monday - Thursday, 7:00am - 5:30pm.

This position requires use of information or access to hardware, which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Requirements:This position will manage sales activities and accounts for a specific product line.
GENERAL DUTIES:
- Work cooperatively with Sales Managers, outside Sales Reps, and other team members to develop and manage existing customer base, creating customer relationships, and actively participate in new account development with the goal of increasing customer satisfaction.
- Interface with customers providing consistently excellent customer service by responding to all incoming customer inquiries regarding sales order expedites and requests for pricing and product availability through the quoting process in a timely manner
- Process quotes in our ERP system in accordance with procedure and policy
- Review and manage open sales orders interacting with accounting, quality and the warehouse to ensure timely release and on time delivery of customer shipments
- Expedite purchase orders with suppliers and vendors for parts relating to sales orders communicating order status updates to the customers
- Manage quote to order process through tracking and following up on open quotes
- Perform “Gap Analysis” on existing accounts to identify opportunities to increase sales and presenting those opportunities to the customer and secure the sale
- Setup and maintain customer accounts updating system notes to ensure customer requirements are met
- Resolve customer problems in a timely manner
- Coordinate customer requests for returns and credits
- Other duties as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in Business or Marketing preferred.
- 3-7 years experience in aerospace product-related sales and marketing with direct OEM and Tier 2 sales experience
- Inside and field sales experience with aerospace, defense primes and suppliers, or commercial marine.
- Familiarity with aerospace distribution, MRO, and aftermarket support sales models.
- Solid technical acumen.
- Strong relationship and customer development skills.
- Ability to identify customer needs and create a solution within company capabilities.
- Demonstrated track record of producing sales results in an aerospace manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- High energy level, comfortable with multi-tasking.
- Must be well-organized, flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- MS Office Suite including; Outlook, Excel, Access, and MSWord.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Read/Write Fluently in English

- Cooperation with others in team environment for cross training and conference on operational issues.
- Initiative in learning and changing work methods to accomplish assigned tasks on a timely basis.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Position located in an office environment, with exposure to the manufacturing floor when needed.
- Domestic business related travel, valid driver's license required.
