• 5 years of IT project management experience
• Proactive approach with a "can-do" attitude and a willingness to go beyond the 9-to-5 mentality
• Key stakeholders interaction with solid communication skills
• Have experience managing technology rollouts
• Ability to balance and manage the interests of multiple groups including: the customer, third party resources, and internal staging, and field personnel
• Estimate the effort associated with potential projects
• Manage the project to the budget
• Managing deployments of WiFi surveys and deployments to complex facilities or a high volume of smaller sites would be a plus
• Experience in complex project delivery and relationship management as defined by the needs of the business, including customer, project team, project suppliers and other affected parties
• Demonstrable record of resolving issues that threaten to delay or seriously disrupt project goals (time, resource, budget or stakeholder in nature)
• Experienced practitioner of and/or accredited in a formal project management methodology such as PMP, Prince2, ITIL qualification, Risk Management
• Familiar with WAN and LAN communication technologies
Client Deployment Services Project Management specializes in managing the logistics of Quoting, Staging, Shipping, and On-site IMACD work for planned deployments.
Skillset Requirement:
The PM will be in regular communication with Client Account Teams and Clients.
Responsibilities Detailed Outline
1. Quoting
a. Coordinate Account Team strategy with Account Directors and Delivery Project Managers
b. Provide indicative cost estimates and pricing
i. Project Management
ii. Staging Costs (Warehouse and Integration)
iii. Shipping Costs
iv. Internal Client Field Engineer (FE) vs 3rd Party FE for on-site work
v. Travel Expense vi. Scissor lifts

c. Provide firm cost estimates and pricing
d. Manage change control for scope changes
e. Monitor Client issuance of PO / approvals
2. Collect detailed requirements with the client and Client Account Team
a. Delivery schedule
b. Site contacts
c. Site safety requirements
d. Site floor plans and Survey details
e. MDF/IDF locations
f. Architecture, High/Low Level Designs and Implementation plan
g. Rack Elevation Diagrams
h. Cabling Plans

3. Equipment Sale
a. Receive BOM from Client CPE procurement teams
b. Participate in sharing CPE quote with the client
c. Monitor Client PO issuance
d. Monitor Client CPE order arrival at Client Newport
4. Staging and Shipping
a. Receive approval to proceed from Account Team based on client PO
b. Notify Client Newport Warehouse and Integration team of pending deliveries
c. Monitor receiving of equipment into inventory
d. Collect staging instructions, software and configurations from Client account team
e. Initiate Pick to Integrate requests to move equipment from warehouse to integration
f. Submit Integration requests for the configuration of Controllers and APs
g. Submit Shipping requests for box or pallet-based shipment including requests to Project Coordinator to raise POs for pallet based shipments
h. Monitor for arrival of equipment at site
i. Communicate completed staging and shipping activities to Client account team and approval for billing
5. Scheduling
a. Schedule the site visits with the client Site Contacts
b. Schedule Internal Client FEs or 3rd Party FEs
c. Schedule third party services and request PO generation from Project Coordinator d. Monitor PO approvals
6. Delivery
a. Communicate detailed requirements to internal and third-party Field Engineers
b. Monitor multi-day on-site delivery
c. Resolve issues as they occur
d. Communicate progress and status
e. Facilitate communications between FEs and client as necessary
f. Iteratively review report as developed and provide feedback to FE.
g. Facilitate report presentation to Client
7. Approvals and Billing
a. Communicate any material changes to scope and resultant cost impact.
b. Receive report approval from client
c. Notify Account Team of site completion and clearance to bill.
