Job Details :
Client : Large Agriscience Manufacturing Client
Title : Laboratory Technician
Duration : 6-12 Months
Location : Johnston, IA
Hourly Rate : $20.00-25.00 / Hour on W2 ONLY
Responsibilities :
Any specific skills or requirements you want in a candidate : would like strong candidates with Bio / Chem experience. Self Motivated, willing to learn, able to work independently
Responsibilities :
Assist with exploration, proof of concept, and development of novel formulation and delivery system technologies and concepts for new and registered active ingredients
Assist with intellectual property (IP) capture and research report writing and presentation
Support routine sample preparation and characterization
Compliance with laboratory safety procedures
Other responsibilities include :
Be able to run and operate sample characterization instrumentation
Consistently applies sound scientific methods to solve technical problems.
Requirements :
Prior experience in research or manufacturing / engineering.
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
Experience in a chemistry lab.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to clearly articulate information and data sharing with stakeholders.
Education
BS or AS in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, Material Science or related fields
Experience with the design and development of formulations is desirable
This position is located in Indianapolis, IN, USA.
Experience with automation is desirable
