Position Title: Scientist - II (Associate)
Job Type: 12-Month Contract
Location: 727 Norristown Road; Spring House Innovation Park (SHIP) Site, Building 4, Lower Gwynedd, PA 19002
Pay - $25- $30 p/h
Qualifications:Education and Experience:
- BS in Analytical Chemistry with 4-6 years of relevant experience,
- MS with 1-3 years of experience, or
- Ph.D. with 0-2 years of relevant experience in Analytical Chemistry.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Hands-on experience in analytical laboratory techniques, including wet chemistry and chromatography.
- Proficiency in Liquid Chromatography (HPLC/UPLC) and dissolution.
- Experience with chromatographic integration and familiarity with Empower software (or similar chromatographic data acquisition systems) and Electronic Laboratory Notebook (ELN).
- Experience in collecting and analyzing raw data, as well as creating graphs and visualizations to interpret results.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team environment.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Expertise in UV spectroscopy.
- Knowledge of laboratory GMP, quality, compliance, data integrity requirements, and current industry trends.
- Ability to troubleshoot various analytical techniques (e.g., chromatography, dissolution, spectroscopy).
- Proven ability to work independently in a laboratory setting.
- Familiarity with statistical tools and methods (e.g., Excel, Minitab, statistical data treatment).
- Experience in conducting comparative and multi-media dissolution studies.
- Collaborative and team-oriented.
- Independent and self-motivated.
- Flexible and adaptable.
- Expertise in HPLC and dissolution testing.
- Strong background in analytical chemistry.
- Experience with Empower software is preferred.
- Familiarity with the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
