Job Description:
- Multiple years experience working in a customer-facing role and leading azure projects
- Ability to lead and work with large and geo diverse teams
- Ability to lead Client discussions around overall architecture, integration, database warehouse, lake architecture, and reporting layer
- Experience in conducting workshops/brainstorming sessions with the Client
- Provide Technical Leadership both tactical(day to day activities) and strategic (big picture, vision)
- Represent team, priorities, architectures in cross-team architectural discussions and decision making
- Effective communication with Client IT teams and technical mentor for the team
- Partner with Client architects in forming vision, direction, and priorities
- Design and Architect the overall Solutions and end to end data flows for most the key and complex components in the project
- Knowledge and ability to implement models, policies, rules and standards that govern how data is stored, arranged and integrated for business intelligence and analytics
- Knowledge of and ability to utilize formal agile methodologies, disciplines, practices and techniques for the delivery of new and enhanced BI solutions, including:
- Knowledge of SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework)
- Ability to configure and execute Azure DevOps deployment pipelines and GIT branching
- Practical, hands on experience in all phases of data engineering, and data management
- Knowledge of tools, techniques, and processes to move (including extract, transform and load) an organization's electronic data, including
- Ability to configure Azure Data Factory as an orchestration methodology for data movements
- Understanding of integration runtimes and its use in data integration
- Ability to leverage Databricks notebooks for transformations
- Expertise in Azure Data Lake storage and security configuration
- Expertise in Azure Data Warehouse Synapse, Azure Database, and Azure Analysis Services technologies including development of optimized stored procedures, indexes, views
- Understanding of Logic Apps and Flows and its applicability in starting and stopping services
- Understanding of Kimball methodology for data warehouse lifecycle
- Experience with coding in SQL and scripting languages such as Python and R
- Knowledge of software development/engineering best practices and tools such as Ansible and Jenkins (requirements gathering, UAT testing, etc.). Understanding of Ansible and how to develop, adjust and execute Ansible Playbooks.
- Knowledge on AI and ability to develop quick POCs
- Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis and the ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve the problems in the best interest of the business.
- Rapidly acquires new knowledge and learns new skills; can work productively in uncertain environments where roles and work are not clearly defined; finds opportunities in ambiguity; can identify opportunities for change; embraces and adapts to change; leans on credible sources from outside own group
