We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Network LAN Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess 8 to 10 years of professional experience in network design, implementation, and optimization, with expertise in LAN architecture, Cisco technologies, and cloud solutions. The role will involve working closely with stakeholders to design, deploy, and manage complex network systems. This individual will be responsible for recommending and implementing cutting-edge network solutions while ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of LAN networks, focusing on Cisco Software-Defined Access (SDA), Cisco DNA Center (DNAC), and Data Center Networking technologies.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to design scalable and secure network architectures for large-scale enterprise environments.
- Demonstrate deep technical knowledge of IP addressing, Variable Length Subnet Mask (VLSM), and other networking protocols.
- Drive cloud networking solutions and integrations, optimizing for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Implement and manage monitoring and alerting tools such as Cisco DNAC, Cisco ISE, PagerDuty, Nagios, Thousand Eyes, CloudWatch, Grafana, Zabbix, and Site24x7.
- Work with advanced LAN technologies such as SDA, DNAC, VXLAN, ACI, FabricPath, Spanning Tree, VLANs, and VLAN Trunking Protocol (VTP).
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, creating reports, documentation, and presentations.
- Provide expert-level troubleshooting, analysis, and support for ongoing network projects.
- Contribute to network security design, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and company requirements.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 8 to 10 years of hands-on experience in network architecture, design, and deployment.
- Proven experience with Cisco Software-Defined Access (SDA) and Cisco DNA Center (DNAC) solutions.
- Strong technical expertise in IP addressing and subnetting (VLSM), VLAN configuration, and network protocols.
- Deep understanding of LAN switching technologies and related protocols: SDA, DNAC, ISE, VXLAN, ACI, FabricPath, Spanning Tree, VTP, and more.
- Proficiency with network monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Cisco DNAC, ISE, PagerDuty, Nagios, CloudWatch, Zabbix).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders and create compelling presentations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Cloud Networking and Cloud-based solutions is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications: Cisco CCNP/CCIE or equivalent certifications preferred.
- Familiarity with cloud networking platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of network security best practices and technologies.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
