TIBCO Consultant

Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled TIBCO Platform Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting TIBCO platforms, with a focus on both production and non-production environments. You will play a key role in the TIBCO migration initiative, ensuring platform reliability, scalability, and security through automation and proactive support.

This role demands an engineering mindset toward infrastructure and operations, applying software and automation solutions to real-world business challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, install, deploy, and administer TIBCO products including TIBCO BusinessWorks 5.x, TIBCO Admin, Hawk, EMS 8.x, EMS Appliances, and ADB Adapter.
• Troubleshoot and analyze TIBCO BW code for defect resolution and production break fixes.
• Partner with architecture teams to align with modern infrastructure practices and support data center migrations.
• Apply critical vulnerability patches to TIBCO platforms as needed.
• Build and manage automation scripts for installations, platform management, restarts, patching, and related maintenance activities.
• Provide ongoing production support for web applications, including issue resolution and root cause analysis.
• Deliver excellent documentation to support platform engineering and knowledge sharing across teams.
• Participate in a 24x7 on-call support rotation.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 3 years of hands-on experience in TIBCO platform support and production environments.
• Proven expertise in installation, configuration, and administration of TIBCO BW & EMS.
• Experience in data center migrations and environment provisioning for TIBCO applications.
• Proficiency in UNIX/Linux OS, network protocols, and storage/file systems.
• Strong understanding of messaging-based distributed systems.
• 2 years of experience creating thorough technical documentation.
• Familiarity with modern CI/CD practices and Agile delivery methodologies.
• 1 years of experience in DevSecOps and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).
• Hands-on experience with automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, and Puppet.
• Working knowledge of GitHub or similar code repositories.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $29.18 - $33.82 per hour
