As a Health Physicist Data Specialist, you’ll play a crucial role in improving the performance and accuracy of dosimetry products through data-driven insights. What You’ll Do
- Be the go-to expert in Health Physics & Dosimetry, providing top-notch client support and troubleshooting complex technical challenges.
- Diagnose & resolve sophisticated dosimetry and radiation protection issues, analyzing data to identify anomalies and implement solutions.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations (ISO 17025, NRC 10CFR20, OSHA) to maintain dosimetry accuracy and safety.
- Use data to analyze trends, spot performance gaps, and apply statistical techniques to enhance system reliability.
- Mentor & innovation - coach teams on experimental design and analytical methodologies, work with R&D, and drive technical excellence.
- Extract & interpret large amounts of dose data to improve predictive analytics, automate processes, and refine system performance.

Enhance radiation exposure monitoring by developing solutions that provide actionable insights for clients.
Boost efficiency - streamline workflows, optimize tracking, and align operations with business goals. - Leverage AI-driven models or predictive analytics for sensor calibration and exposure forecasting.
- Share knowledge - develop resources and training materials to support clients and internal teams.
What You Bring
- Strong understanding of radiation safety, exposure monitoring, and compliance .
- Expertise in passive & active dosimetry, dose assessment, and calibration techniques.
- Ability to analyze large datasets , identify trends, and apply statistical techniques.
- Familiarity with ISO 17025, NRC 10CFR20, OSHA, and other regulations.
- Experience with radiation detection devices, dosimeters, and instrumentation
- Knowledge of AI-driven models or predictive analytics for sensor calibration.
- Skilled at identifying anomalies, diagnosing root causes, and implementing fixes.
- Strong communication skills—able to break down complex dosimetry concepts for customers.
- Experience working cross-functionally with R&D, Operations, and regulatory bodies.
Education & Experience
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Physics, Radiation Protection, Nuclear Engineering, Medical Physics, Physics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3 years of industry or related experience. (education can substitute for years of experience)
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in Health Physics, Medical Physics, or Data Science (with a focus on radiation monitoring or dosimetry).
- Additional coursework or certification in statistics, data science, or machine learning.
