Position Summary

Assembly Associate Tier I is an entry-level position responsible for performing basic operational tasks under close supervision. The role involves assisting in daily workflows such as material handling preparation and building products. This position is ideal for individuals who are new to the operational environment and are eager to learn and develop their skills. The Assembly Associate Tier I follows standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines and reports any issues to the supervisor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following :

  • Perform basic operational tasks that include preparation of dosimeters (production / assembly department)
  • Consistently meets or exceeds productivity targets to support operational goals.
  • Consistently meets and exceeds quality goals and standards in support of operational goals
  • Assist with material handling and equipment operation.
  • Strictly adhere to safety protocols and standard operating procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Participate in on-the-job training.
  • Promptly report any issues or irregularities to a supervisor / lead to ensure they are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Limited use of computer in regular activities
  • Foster positive team interactions and maintain effective communication within the team.
  • Supplies the workstation with parts and performs preparatory work to keep work cell stocked.
  • Completing required training in accordance with our QA manual or training program.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Skills in managing time effectively to meet or exceed productivity targets.
  • Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to work harmoniously with other team members and support a positive work environment.
  • Proficiency in both verbal and written communication to effectively convey information, report issues, and interact with team members and supervisors.
  • Willingness and ability to adapt to changing work conditions, new processes, and technologies. A proactive approach to continuous learning and development is important.
  • Basic competence in using computers for tasks such as data entry, process tracking, and communication. Familiarity with any specific software used in the operational environment is a plus.
  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities
  • Uses existing procedures to perform straightforward tasks; has limited opportunity to solve problems.
  • Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Basic proficiency in using computers
  • Experience

  • No prior experience required
  • Some experience in a similar environment (e.g., warehouse, manufacturing, or assembly line) would be a plus, but it is not required.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to stand for long periods of time, walk, reach, climb, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch / crawl, to hand assembly small parts in a repetitive nature and occasionally lift and / or move up to 20 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
  • Must be able to bend or stoop frequently
