Job Description:
- The candidate will be part of a team that is responsible for the design, engineering and rollout of the SharePoint platform by addressing key deficiencies, integration with
- other systems, solution development along with application design & consulting for our business. Job will involve working on cutting edge technologies and access to non-
- We seek a SharePoint Migration Consultant
- The candidate will work on the planning, scheduling, communication, signoff and status reporting of the migration with the site owners and engineering team.
- Towards the tail end of the migration there is a site consolidation project coupled with a smaller migration to upgrade/migrate the remaining of sites that initially weren t eligible for the shared plant.
Skills Required:
- Extensive migration experience.
- Communication, coordination, planning and scheduling of the migration
- Strong experience with providing proper status and progress updates on the migration
- Is able to take a task and execute it in its entirety
- Is able to track issues and escalate to the core SharePoint engineering or Operations team or Microsoft support as needed
Key Skills
- Ability to identify & create migration mappings
- Technical and analytical thinker
- Ability to work with key business stakeholders
- Can work independently but also knit well within a virtual team
- Enjoys challenges with migration execution
