Job Title: Salesforce Developer
Duration: 6-12 Months

Location: Durham, NC, USA (Hybrid) Only Locals
Job Summary:
We seeks an experienced Salesforce Developer to design, develop, test, and deploy custom Child Welfare solutions on the Salesforce platform. This role will support the DHHS Information Technology Division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and build solutions using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Components.
- Customize and configure Salesforce (objects, fields, workflows).
- Develop Salesforce integrations with external systems and tools.
- Conduct unit testing, code reviews, and performance tuning.
- Track tasks in Jira and participate in Agile development processes.
- Prepare technical documentation and assist in end-user training.
- Remediate security vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with privacy policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including analysts and stakeholders.
Required Skills:
- 7 years: Salesforce Lightning Component Development, Apex, Salesforce integrations
- 3 years: Visualforce development, legacy system data migration
- Experience with Copado and Copado Robotics Testing (Highly Desired)
- Experience raising Salesforce tickets (Highly Desired)
Preferred Certifications:
- Salesforce Developer or Admin Certifications (specify in application with year received)
Additional Requirements:
- Candidate must be available for the full project duration.
- No remote subcontracting or offshore outsourcing permitted.
