Position Summary:
The Business Development Manager will lead Radienz Living’s business development with current customers and will be responsible for prospecting new business with Retail Customers, Branded manufacturers (CoMan), and Institutional Channel customers. We expect the split of time to be focused 80% on new business and 20% on managing current customers.
Location: Any major U.S. City, ideally within 3 hr. drive from Chicago or New York
Key Responsibilities:
The duties required to accomplish the above objective require the capability to:
- Accountable for strengthening current customer relationships and growing the business by selling new items and helping our partners grow their category sales.
- Identify and engage potential customers aligned with the company’s Where to Play strategy, driving new business opportunities.
- Develop and manage relationships with new customers, with the potential for long-term ownership or transition to channel experts for further development.
- Utilize tenacious selling skills and a growth mindset to engage and educate potential customers on Radienz Living’s new strategy and capabilities, driving business expansion.
- Understand diverse customer business challenges and effectively communicate how Radienz Living’s capabilities provide a compelling value proposition.
- Build and nurture relationships across multiple levels and functions within customer organizations to drive long-term business success.
- Analyze and understand diverse customer business challenges, articulating how Radienz Living’s capabilities offer a winning value proposition.
- Cultivate and strengthen relationships at various levels and functions within customer organizations to drive collaboration and business growth.
- Lead high-growth initiatives with frequent customer and internal multifunctional interactions, demonstrating strong leadership, energy, and vision.

Qualifications:
- Selling Experience – The candidate must have at least 5( ) years of experience selling in the contract manufacturing or Private Label space.
- Personal and Home Care/Wipes and or Unit Dose/Laundry/Dish detergent experience strongly desired.
- Strategic selling capabilities – Candidate must demonstrate ability to 1) understand customer needs; 2) understand customer structure and decision-making process; 3) Create a compelling selling proposition; 4) Execute a selling plan
- “Hunter” mentality – Must have the ability the seek out new business opportunities, within current customer base, as well as find new customers to develop.
- Technical affinity – While the products we sell are not technically complex, candidate must have the ability to understand cleaning products performance, and have enough curiosity to understand the manufacturing and distribution process of the portfolio he/she is selling.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or at least 5( ) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of: Manufacturing Software; Spreadsheet Software (Excel); Word Processing Software (Word); Electronic Mail Software (Outlook); and Presentation software (PowerPoint). Knowledge of JD Edwards is a plus.
Salary Range: $140,000.00 to $147,000.00
This range is an estimate, based on potential candidate qualifications, education, and experience as well as operational needs and other considerations permitted by law.
