What are the responsibilities and job description for the Blending Operator position at Radienz Living?
Overview
We are seeking a The Blending Operator is responsible for all activities related to the blending of products as per formula instructions. This role will also be responsible for adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect assuring the quality and quantity of product produced.
This position is a for 2nd shift; Monday - Friday 4:30pm-1:00am.
Responsibilities:
Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Required to operate blending machinery independently as well as within a team environment.
- Match all labels with batch records.
- Must be able to document the blending process information as per SOP.
- Must be able to load and unload blending machines.
- Monitor blending operation periodically and report any abnormal conditions to the supervisor.
- Understand, follow, and ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and adherence to defined procedures, safety rules and SOPs.
- Produce High Quality finished goods (At All Times).
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Perform all other duties as assigned which may become necessary to support departmental/organizational objectives.
Qualifications:
- Prior working knowledge in a manufacturing, packaging, cosmetics or pharmaceutical industry.
- High school degree or GED, preferred.
- Ability to write and respond to simple correspondence.
- Must be able to safely operate the machine for the intended purpose.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. times, able to meet yields, volume etc.
- Flexibility in work schedule, based on volume needs, which could require weekends, and/or working overtime.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and loud production environment.
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow directions.
- Attention to details.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to frequently lift/move heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
- Constant manual dexterity use.
- Required to stand for long period of time.
- Ability to stand, climb, bend etc.
