Radin Consulting, a transportation planning and design firm, is looking for a full-time Engineering Scheduler to work at a Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) office in New Carrolton, MD. The office has free parking and is 0.5 mile from the New Carrollton Metro/MARC/Amtrak Train Station. Salary will be based on qualifications and experience. Excellent benefits are included. All candidates will be required to pass a background check.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field
- 5 - 10 years of related experience with multi-project program scheduling
- Experience in transportation engineering/construction preferred
- Strong capability with Primavera P6 (and Primavera Risk Analysis), Procore, and SharePoint
- Understand integrated cost and schedule analysis

- Develops, maintains, and updates detailed capital planning schedules and cost information for transit-related capital projects.
- Works with the project team and task managers to define the scope of work and identify variances from the original plan.
- Develops “what if” scenarios to finalize capital spending, sequencing, and contracting plans. Explores alternate sequencing to mitigate or avoid schedule delays.
- Performs detailed review of contractor schedule submittals, including baseline and progress updates.
- Logs project timelines and maintains a database of tasks and status.
- Reviews and integrates cost data using a work breakdown structure. Designs and develops individual project schedules and creates Integrated Master Schedules.
- Analyzes critical path and constraints to determine effect of changes to schedule and recommend a work-around.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
