What are the responsibilities and job description for the Installer Technician position at Radio Communications?
Leading provider of public safety communications solutions seeks a full-time two-way radio and vehicle emergency equipment installer to join our team in the Asheville area.
Responsibilities include:
- Installation of two-way radios and emergency warning equipment into vehicles
- Basic troubleshooting of two-way radios and emergency warning equipment in vehicles (training available)
- Installation of communications equipment and related hardware at building sites, including working on roofs
- Document service and installation actions by completing work tickets, reports, logs, and records as required.
- Maintaining customer satisfaction
Requirements:
- Experience with automotive electrical and mechanical systems as it relates to installation of radio and emergency equipment is preferred
- Detail oriented
- Strong work ethic
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good driving record and valid driver’s license (NC, or if other state, ability to obtain NC license after start date) required
- Ability to travel as needed.

· Starting at $19.00 - $20.00 per hour; higher rate available, based on experience and skill level
