As a garage door technician you are responsible for servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing and installing residential/commercial garage doors, operators and parts. As a technician, you will also perform preventative maintenance and proactive repairs when needed.

Experience Is Required.

Duties include;

• Operate trucks, vans, trailers, scissor
  
  

lifts, and work from ladders.

• Knowledge of garage door installation,
  
  

operation and maintenance.

• Ability to troubleshoot and repair
  
  

garage door issues.

• Familiarity with electrical wiring and
  
  

safety protocols.

• Replace and/or repair garage openers.
  
  

Program door openers and keypads.

• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work well independently and
  
  

with a team.

• Strong problem solving and critical
  
  

thinking skills.

Loading and unloading material

• Records parts, materials, labor and
  
  

other cost data per job

• Maintains truck maintenance and
  
  

completes truck inspection daily

• Required to drive a company vehicle
  
  

and must follow all driving and safety

rules and DOT requirements at all

times

• Tracking and maintaining neat and
  
  

organized inventory to ensure

warehouse is safe and accessible and

complies with OSHA guidelines

• Able to consistently lift, push, kneel,
  
  

crouch, reach while handling the tools

necessary to install garage doors

• Ability to use hand and power tools

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
