Summer 2025 Champs Camp: School Counselor

The State College Area School District is currently accepting applications for the following lead teacher position for summer school programming:

• K-8 Summer School Counselor

The District seeks dynamic, energetic educators who are student-focused and have knowledge of both theory and practice specific to the education of K-8 learners. Organizational and collaborative skills are critical to success in this position. The District is searching for candidates who demonstrate a commitment to professional growth and development and possess various professional experiences.

CHAMPs Camp School Counselor

• Expected Dates: July 7, 2025 - July 31, 2025, plus pre-planning and training
• Job Duties: Planning, organizing, and instructing students in socio-emotional learning; small group, and other duties supporting the whole child.
• Certification: K-12 Counselor; social worker; and/or eligibility for emergency certification; counseling/social work experience is required.
