Job Summary:
Radiology Associates of Ocala is seeking a full-time Breast Scheduler to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will coordinate imaging appointments for referring physicians and patients, ensuring a professional and friendly experience. You will be responsible for gathering and inputting patient demographics and insurance data, as well as delivering exceptional customer service while creating a welcoming first impression for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer multi-line phone system courteously and professionally, routing calls as needed.
- Schedule imaging appointments across multiple clinical sites, ensuring exams are appropriate for the ordered diagnosis in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
- Accurately enter patient demographic and insurance information into our RIS system.
- Provide quality customer service by assisting patients with scheduling, answering inquiries, and ensuring a positive experience.
- Resolve any conflicting or missing orders by coordinating with referring physicians, supervisors, or lead technicians.
What You’ll Need to Be Successful:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of one year of experience, preferably in a medical office setting.
- Knowledge of radiologic procedures and medical terminology is desirable.
- Strong computer and customer service skills.
