Radiology Associates is seeking a Full Time Mammography Technologist to work in our Palm Coast Imaging location.

GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES : Responsible for variety of technical activities associated with the performance of screening and diagnostic mammography procedures.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
EDUCATION : Associate's degree (A.A.) in Radiologic Technology program or equivalent from two-year College or technical school
EXPERIENCE : Minimum of two years' experience in radiologic imaging modalities; one year of Mammography experience preferred. Experience with tomosynthesis preferred.
CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSURE : Licensed in the State of Florida and ARRT certification in Radiography (RT(R)). Current ARRT certification in Mammography (M) preferred, or must be obtained within first 6 months of employment in position. BLS Certification.
What You'll Need to Succeed
PHYSICAL / MENTAL DEMANDS : Requires full range of body motion. Must be able to lift / carry / move items weighing up to 50 pounds. Requires positioning of patients. Requires 20 / 20 correctable vision.
ENVIRONMENTAL / WORKING CONDITIONS : Medical office, mammography exam and treatment rooms. Exposure to radiation, needles, and communicable diseases. Work location may vary between sites.
