Job Description:
We are seeking a full-time Remote Tele Assist Support II to assist various fast-paced outpatient imaging centers. This role supports multiple external clinical applications, systems, and workflows for 24/7/365 multi-facility hospitals and outpatient sites. You’ll be working directly with Radiologists and hospital staff across the United States, supporting them in urgent patient care scenarios. Access to reliable, high-speed internet is required.
What You’ll Get to Do:
- Collaborate with Clinical Applications, TelAssist, and IT support teams to administer and support clinical applications and related systems for all Radiologists within the organization.
- Diagnose and escalate technical issues to IT support, especially during after-hours coverage.
- Build relationships with Radiologists and hospital/ER staff (Advent, HCA, Tampa General, USVI Hospital, and Halifax facilities, plus smaller outpatient facilities).
- Analyze data to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
- Install and update software and hardware drivers.
- Log and update service requests and tickets.
- Change configurations, settings, and permissions to resolve computer issues.
- Perform basic troubleshooting of computer applications and related systems and escalate as needed.
- Complete project work related to hospital and/or Teleradiology workflows.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You Will Need to Be Successful:
- High school diploma or equivalent (additional IT/computer or clinical certifications preferred).
- Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- IT experience in Level 1 troubleshooting and resolutions.
- 1 years of experience in a clinical/healthcare environment (Radiology background highly desirable).
- Familiarity with multi-application systems in an outpatient or hospital-based environment.
- Experience with PACS, RIS, and dictation systems a plus.
- Ability to work independently with excellent time management, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work well in a team, solve problems effectively, and communicate clearly.
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to respond quickly and fluidly to issues as they arise.
- Collaborative mindset and strong relationship-building skills.
- Knowledge of HL7 and DICOM formats.
- Basic understanding of IT auditing and security compliance.
- Intermediate computer skills.
