What are the responsibilities and job description for the CT Medical Assistant position at RADIOLOGY ASSOCIATES OF TALLAHASSEE?
With over 60 years of service to the community as the premier imaging center in Tallahassee, we continue to grow. We are seeking an additional CT Medical Assistant to join our team.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Preparation of CT patients for their respective examinations.
- Reads patient notes and follows patient safety screening instructions.
- Forwards the patient to appropriate personnel concerning questions about procedures.
- Dressing of patient appropriately for their CT procedures
- Assist technologists with moving and lifting of patients, assisting patients to the restroom, and any other patient care duties as needed.
- Stocking and organization and cleaning of all work area, to include all CT scan rooms, patient holding areas, storerooms, et cetera.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor
EDUCATION:
High school degree or equivalent. Graduation from an Accredited Medical Assistant Program. Retain a Certification/Registration in the State of Florida.
KNOWLEDGE:
Knowledge of health care field.
Previous imaging experience helpful but not required.

- Ability to learn and retain information regarding patient care procedures.
