With over 60 years of service to the community as the premier imaging center in Tallahassee, we continue to grow and thrive. We are seeking a Front Office Assistant to join our growing team. This is a full time, benefits-eligible position. The hours for this positions are Monday-Friday 1p-9p with (paid) call requirements and occasional Saturdays.
This position includes:

- 45-50% shift differential on weekdays after 6p and Saturday and Sunday all day.
GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Responsible for assisting in patient care duties as related to MR and physician demands.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Preparation of MRI patients for their respective examinations.
- Reads patient notes and follows patient safety screening instructions.
- Forwards the patient to appropriate personnel concerning questions about procedures.
- Dressing of patient appropriately for their MRI procedures.
- Preparation and assistance of all hospital inpatients for their MRI studies and assisting them with the completion of their paperwork if necessary.
- Assist patient escorts (nurses, sitters) with care of hospital inpatients.
- Assist technologists with moving and lifting of patients, assisting patients to the restroom, and any other patient care duties as needed.
- Stocking and organization of all work area, to include all MRI scan rooms, patient holding areas, storerooms, et cetera.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements:
EDUCATION:
High school degree or equivalent.
KNOWLEDGE:
Knowledge of health care field.

- Ability to project a pleasant and professional image.
- Ability to use tact and diplomacy in interpersonal interactions.
- Ability to demonstrate compassion and caring in dealing with others.
