What are the responsibilities and job description for the Interventional Radiology Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner position at Radiology Associates of Wausau?
Radiology Associates of Wausau is seeking a full time midlevel provider (PA or NP) to join our hospital-based, growing Interventional Radiology practice. The successful candidate will support 5 fellowship-trained Interventional Radiologists with clinical care. Duties will depend on the needs of the practice and may include seeing outpatients in clinic, performing inpatient consults, rounding, performing minor procedures (such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, and PICC placement), maintaining patient registries, GI fluoroscopy, and light call (pager call only).
PA or NP certification is required. Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain relevant hospital credentials, Wisconsin professional license, and ACLS certification. Interventional Radiology and procedural experience is preferred.

We provide high level care to patients coming from central and northern Wisconsin as well as the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Our Interventional Radiology program is growing, with a focus on Interventional Oncology and Vascular Disease.
