Radiology Group Practice Coordinator
Position: A nationally recognized radiology management company is seeking a highly motivated individual to assume the role of Radiology Group Practice Coordinator for a successful Prescott, Arizona practice. The selected candidate will work closely with and directly support a team of 10 plus physicians, physician extenders and related staff. The Practice Coordinator will be supported on-site and remotely and by the firm’s executive team including oversight by an Operations Director. This is a full-time on-site position with competitive wages and benefits.
Job Expectations and Requirements:
- Strong ability to work independently and with adept use of critical thinking skills.
- Ability to effectively coordinate the daily operations of a well-organized physician practice as part of a solid management team.
- Strong background and experience with general accounting and payroll and general office work to support ongoing operations and communications.
- Excellent organization and task deadline monitoring.
- Ability to effectively work in Microsoft Office products (Work; Excel; PowerPoint, etc.), QuickBooks, and Payroll Software.
- Experience working with physicians, and a general working knowledge of health systems is preferred.
- Exceptional communication skills and an ability to communicate with physicians, hospital executive staff and the firm’s executive team.
- Familiarity with Radiology Imaging Services and modalities.
- Experience with the development of written meeting agendas and minutes.
- Understanding of physician credentialing, physician licensure and continuing medical education generally.
- Requires meticulous attention to detail.
- Preference for familiarity with health care reimbursement in general.
- Requires strong customer service skills to interact with patients and vendor relationships by telephone and email at times.
- Enjoys scheduling, coordination and logistics specifically for monthly group meetings of the practice.
- Comfort gathering and organizing data with analytical ability.
- Ability to establish and maintain positive, professional relationships with team members and stakeholders across all areas.
- Maintain confidentiality for patients, the practice and the firm.
Educational and Job Requirements:
- Minimally a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration or liberal arts.
- Preference of 1-2 years’ experience with a hospital based or outpatient medical practice operations.
- Experience in radiology a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
