Summary
Job Summary
Performs designated duties to assist the department staff in the areas of patient care and departmental and equipment orderliness and cleanliness.
Job Responsibilities
- Assists clinicians with the care of patients as directed.
- Assists clinicians with positioning patients as directed.
- Transports patients and materials as directed.
- Utilizes safe lifting techniques and appropriate assistive devices.
- Cleans and maintains patient care areas.
- Maintains equipment and medical supplies as directed by clinicians.
Qualifications
- High school diploma, General Equivalency Diploma (GED) or higher preferred
- No experience required
- BLS - Certified as a Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider required within 90 days of employment in this position

- Works under minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
- Learning and applies knowledge at a basic level relying heavily on senior staff for troubleshooting.
