Job Title : Full-Time CT Technologist, Part-Time, Per Diem

Job Description :

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CT Technologist to join our fast-paced clinical team. In this full-time, Monday through Friday role, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic CT scans and providing exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized, compassionate, and efficient technologist who thrives in a busy healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform CT scans on patients as prescribed by physicians, ensuring high-quality imaging results that support accurate diagnosis.
Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process, answering questions, and ensuring comfort and safety throughout the scan.
Operate CT imaging equipment effectively and ensure it is properly maintained, adhering to all safety and quality standards.
Administer contrast media under the supervision of a physician or radiologist, as needed.
Monitor patients throughout the procedure, identifying any complications or issues, and promptly notifying medical staff as necessary.
Maintain accurate patient records, including imaging results, and ensure proper data entry in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Work collaboratively with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver timely and accurate diagnostic imaging results.
Ensure a clean and safe working environment by adhering to infection control protocols and regularly inspecting equipment.
Provide excellent customer service, helping patients feel at ease during their imaging procedures and ensuring their overall satisfaction with their visit.
Stay informed of advancements in CT technology and imaging techniques to ensure the highest level of care and accuracy.

Qualifications :

Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), with advanced certification in CT (ARRT-CT) or equivalent.

Current state licensure (if applicable).

Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a CT Technologist in a clinical or hospital setting preferred; however, recent graduates with clinical internship experience are encouraged to apply.

Strong understanding of CT protocols, anatomy, and patient positioning.

Ability to operate and troubleshoot CT equipment effectively.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume clinical environment.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications like ACLS are a plus.

Physical Requirements :

Ability to stand for extended periods and assist patients during imaging procedures.

Ability to lift and move patients and equipment as necessary.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with varying patient needs and demands.

Competitive annual salary range : $66,560 - $93,600 (commensurate with experience).
