Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Night Auditor. As a Night Auditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel during the overnight hours. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide exceptional guest service.
Duties:
- Perform night audit procedures to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial transactions
- Verify and balance guest accounts, including room charges, taxes, and fees
- Prepare daily reports summarizing hotel operations and financial activities
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Assist with check-ins and check-outs as needed
- Monitor and respond to phone calls and emails during the night shift
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
- Knowledge of hotel management systems and night audit procedures
- Familiarity with phone systems and phone etiquette
