Banquet Bartender:
Job Summary:
· Characteristics of our event bartender include being a team player, having excellent attention to detail, having the ability to maintain a positive attitude, and being conversational and friendly with guests
· In addition, our banquet bartender must maintain the highest level of professionalism.
Responsibilities:
· Set up bar and stocks alcohol, supplies, and garnishes based on the banquet event order
· Serves both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests
· Always provided high quality customer service and follows procedures when dealing with client requests
· Monitors event guests’ alcohol consumption
· Capable of dealing with problematic guests and seeks the support of management when necessary
· Maintains tally of alcohol consumption for specific functions as directed
· Processes payments for cash bar events
· Verifies identification and age requirements of customers
· Breaks down bar and stores supplies at end of functions
· Works closely with the dishwasher to assure glassware is frequently stocked
· Supports banquet service when bar service slows
Requirements:
> Must be 18 years of age
> Must be RAMP certified
> Previous bartending experience preferred
> May at times have to life 50 pounds
> Ability to stand for long periods of time and walking while carrying items
> Preferred to be ServeSafe certified
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $9.00 per hour
