Responsibilities
- Take food and beverage orders from guests via phone or in-person, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Prepare and deliver meals and beverages to guest rooms promptly and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the room service area, including equipment and supplies.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and presentation.
- Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, providing excellent guest relations at all times.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently while adhering to hotel policies.
- Assist in meal preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality by providing personalized service to enhance the guest experience.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and basic culinary techniques is a plus.
- Strong basic math skills for processing orders and payments accurately.
- Excellent guest service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
