Radius Aerospace– Hot Springs is a leading manufacturer of sheet metal parts and assemblies used in the aviation industry. We utilize a wide range of metal forming techniques and special manufacturing processes, servicing the commercial, military, regional jet, helicopter, and general aviation markets.
Position Summary
Tends machine that prints information such as part number, cage code, work order number, date, on aircraft parts or identification tags. Packages products manually by performing the specified duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Selects type of identification delivery system required and inserts type into machine, or moves numbers on a stamp to move type into printing position.
- Visually inspects all parts for damage or other discrepancies.
- Sets rubber stamp, or identification machine to match proper part identification.
- Observes printed tags or material during start up for defects such as crooked lines, blurred print, or off centered printing, and repositions or adjust machine. Applies liquid or paste ink to printing rollers or printing pad on machine.
- Tends machine equipped with automatic cutter and counting control that stops machine when specified number of tickets have been printed.
- Good regular attendance is an essential function of this position.
- Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Basic computer proficiency and functional knowledge with applications and activities
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic math and reading comprehension
