The responsibilities of a Tig Welder, Associate include :
- Performs basic TIG welding.
- Performs welding of parts and / or assemblies subject to pressure test and / or fluorescence penetrant. Part and / or subassemblies of light gauge material under the guidance of Sr. Welder or Lead Welder.
- Under direction of Sr. Welder and / or Lead Welder, employee may operate automatic and semi-automatic weld equipment, including : Jetline and weld lathe
- Setup, fit-up, position, align clamp, bolt, and tack-weld production parts for the Jetline and Welding Lathe.
- Perform tasks as related to fit-up and finishing, incidental to the process.
- Keeps work area clean.
- Performs all other tasks as may be assigned by management.
