What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cardiology Physician Position position at Radixsol?
Job Requirements:
- Reason for coverage: Open position with a need for coverage.
- Coverage schedule: minimum of 2 weeks per month. Must be available a full 7 days in a row.
- Weekly schedule: Monday 7:00 AM through Monday 7:00 AM, including night and weekend call
- Weekday hours: 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
- Weekend call: Starts Friday at 4:30 PM and ends Monday at 7:00 AM.
- Evening call: Starts at 4:30 PM and ends the following morning at 7:30 AM.
- The provider would be in house Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm, take call Monday-Friday for the night shift and then take weekend call through Monday morning.
- Average inpatient admissions per physician per day: Approximately 10, depending on inpatient consults.
- Total number of beds: 256.
- Number of ICU beds: 20.
- Cardiologists in the group: 3 non-invasive cardiologists.
- Other cardiologists will be present during locum coverage.
- Patient age demographic: 18 years and older.
- Documentation system/EMR: Currently Flex and Merge Cardio.
- Required procedures: Echocardiography, Transesophageal Echocardiography, Electrocardiograms (EKGs), and stress echo.
