What are the responsibilities and job description for the Critical Care/Trauma Physician position at Radixsol?
Our Client is is looking for a locum Critical Care physician for coverage starting March 2025. The shifts are 24 hours with 12 hours onsite with 12 hours of offsite call coverage. The physician will cover 10 bed ICU and must be able to do bronchoscopies. Ongoing stints are 3-4 shifts.
Schedule / Availability Requirements :
March 14 (8a) - 17 (8a)
Ongoing dates will be needed and are 3-4 day stretches
Details :
8a-8p - onsite coverage
8p-8a night call coverage
Setting : Inpatient Trauma Level III
Duties : The physician will round on the patients in the ICU. The ICU is open so will work with other specialties that can consult if necessary.
FTE : 0.5
Required Procedures : Bronchoscopies, some line placements, and intubations.
EMR : EPIC
Support Staff : RN
Reason for Coverage : Gap in coverage due to open position.
EMR Required Training :
Module (learn lessons) Must be completed prior to virtual EMR training to attend the training.
EMR Modules & Onsite training Only able to attend if Modules are completed before training. Onsite EMR training is required and it is looped into the morning of the providers first day.
