Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) Physician
Summary:
Seeking a dedicated Obstetrics and Gynecology physician to provide high-quality patient care, manage complex cases, and collaborate with our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide prenatal, labor, and delivery care for pregnant women, ensuring the health and well-being of both mother and fetus throughout pregnancy and childbirth.
Manage and monitor gynecological conditions, including menstrual disorders, menopause, pelvic pain, abnormal pap smears, sexually transmitted infections, and other reproductive health issues.
Conduct routine well-woman exams, including screenings for cervical and breast cancer, and provide preventive care to women across all ages.
Perform gynecological surgeries such as hysterectomies, laparoscopies, and other minimally invasive and traditional procedures as needed.
Educate patients about pregnancy, contraception, reproductive health, and lifestyle choices that impact women's health.
Collaborate with nurses, nurse practitioners, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
Provide emergency care in situations such as complications during pregnancy, miscarriages, or gynecological emergencies.
Offer counseling on birth control options, fertility, and family planning.
Provide postpartum care, monitoring recovery after childbirth, and addressing any complications that arise.
Maintain thorough and accurate medical records, including patient history, examination results, diagnoses, and treatments.
Participate in after-hours or weekend on-call rotations to handle emergencies, labor and delivery, and other OB/GYN-related needs.
