What are the responsibilities and job description for the Otolaryngology Physician position at Radixsol?
Job Details
Below are the key details regarding this position:
- Start Date: Immediate start date upon credentialing.
- Work Schedule: Full-time coverage is strongly preferred.
- Clinic/ OR Hours: Between 6-8 hours per month combined.
- Practice Type: Office/Clinic & Hospital/Call
- Patient Demographics: 90% Adult, 10% Pediatric patients.
- Surgical vs. Clinic Cases: 50% Surgical & 50% Office/Clinic cases.
- Average Daily Patients: 15 patients per day on average, with 95% scheduled and 5% add-ons.
- Hospital Patient Load: 2-6 hospital patient surgeries per physician per day.
- Practice Setup: The locums physician will be required to supervise other healthcare providers. No teaching responsibilities.
- Colleague Support: No other Otolaryngologist will be present during locums coverage.
- Facility Support:
- Lab and X-Ray On-Site: Lab & X-Ray facilities are available on-site.
- Nursing Staff: RN supports physician and immunology / allergy clinic. MA and RN support APP and MD as well as office support staff.
- Hospital Bed Count: 39 total beds in the hospital.
- Trauma Level: Trauma Level 3.
Required Procedures
- General Otolaryngology: Surgical & Non-surgical procedures.
- Endoscopic Procedures: Septal, Sinus, Bronchoscopy-Flexibility & rigid, Laryngoscopy, Tracheotomy.
