Job Description:
Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Certified Surgical Tech (CST) to join our surgical team in Lebanon, NH. This position involves assisting surgeons in general surgery cases and ensuring the operating room is prepared for optimal patient care. Candidates with a strong background in Ortho/Neuro cases and EPIC EMR experience will excel in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist surgeons as a scrub nurse according to prescribed standards.
- Act as a second circulator under the supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety within the department to ensure a safe environment for patients.
- Participate in the on-call schedule (details TBD).
- Work collaboratively within a 3-OR suite environment, providing care to patients ranging from pediatric to geriatric.

Required Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of current experience in a surgical tech role.
- Certifications:
- BLS (American Heart Association)
- NBSTSA Certification
- NH Med Tech Certification
- Skills:
- High proficiency with Ortho/Neuro cases.
- Familiarity with EPIC EMR (preferred).
- Transportation: Must have personal transportation as this is a rural area with no public transit.

- Recent work history.
- Pertinent skills checklist (updated within 1 year).
- 1 signed supervisory reference (from the past two years).
- Valid certifications and NH State License at the time of application.
- Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered for this role.
Pay & Benefits:
- Non-Billable Orientation: 8 hours.
- Overtime/Holiday/Call-Back Rate: 1.25x base rate.
- On-Call Pay: $4/hour.
