**OFFERING UP TO $200,000 BASE**
**REMOTE ROLE - BUT OCCASIONAL TRAVEL TO NYC/CHICAGO IS REQUIRED**
A rapidly growing high-frequency trading firm is seeking a new CFO to help build out and maintain a new spin-off entity. Although someone with prior experience in a C-level position would be a great fit, the hiring manager would also be keen to see mid-level candidates keen to step into a more senior position.
Responsibilities:
- Provide and implement strategy for financial operations
- Ensure operations are compliant with tax regulations
- Hold responsibility for financial planning and analysis
- Oversee cash flow, cash management, and working capital
- Perform company audits
- Monthly accounting
- Prepare financial statements and reports
- Hold responsibility for reconciliations and clearing
- Manage relationships with banks and vendors
Requirements:
- 5 Years experience in a similar function
- Experience working as a financial controller, CFO, or financial analyst in a trading firm or asset management group (nice-to-have)
- Experience working in a start-up environment (nice-to-have)
- A degree in accounting, finance, or economics (nice-to-have)
