We are hiring on behalf of one of our Investment Banking clients' Cary NC office for Network Engineers with experience in building network infrastructure for market connectivity. The successful candidate will likely come from an Investment Banking background, due to the required knowledge of market connectivity and will be joining the Fixed Income and Currencies team within this firm, managing end to end technology related to FX, Emerging Markets, Rates, Credit and Listed Derivatives.
You will be working with their Core Connectivity team, building out, building better and maintaining Ultra Low Latency trading platform connectivity which spans 4 regions and more than 20 datacentres.
Responsibilities
- Analyse and design changes and requests to meet mandatory venue changes without impact to services.
- Managing day-to-day application connectivity requirements to external trading venues.
- Redesign and Redelivery of current solutions.
- Adopt GCP and Hybrid cloud platforms.
- Network Engineering fundamentals.
Requirements
- Unix / Linux skills, with hands on experience with Shell scripting.
- Networking fundamentals (BGP, TCP/IP, WAN, LAN, Routing, Firewalls etc.).
- Multicast (In depth knowledge).
- Knowledge of US & EU exchange venues.
Salary : $100,000 - $142,250
