What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quantitative Researcher (Alpha) position at Radley James?
Working with a global multi strategy trading firm who are looking to hire a quantitative alpha researcher to work within the Macro Pipeline, a team which focuses on medium/high frequency futures or equities trading.
The main focus of this role is researching and implementing fully automated systematic futures or equities models at various horizons (high frequency, medium frequency and daily)
Requirements -
- At least 2 years of comparable research experience.
- 2 years of experience researching scalable HFT or medium-term futures signals
- Advanced degree (e.g., PhD in Statistics and/or Computational Math) from a top institution is strongly preferred
- Excellent understanding of probabilities, statistics, and optimization
- Machine learning experience is a plus • Experience manipulating large datasets
- Excellent programming skills: fluency in Python is a must (including Pandas, Numpy, Sklearn), as is the ability to write efficient cod
Base salary and discretionary bonus based on candidate’s contributions and overall performance, it is highly competitive for the space. There is also a flexible hybrid working model in place and they are more than happy to wait out non-competes for the right candidates.
